Video shot Wednesday night in Pembroke Pines shows a funnel cloud and possible tornado that formed during severe storms.
All of Broward County was placed under a tornado watch Wednesday evening.
The video, shot by Dennis Feltgen, a Meteorologist and Public Affairs Officer for the NOAA's National Hurricane Center, was captured around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. It was taken at the Miramar/Pembroke Pines city line in Silver Lakes, which is a hundred yards south of Pembroke Road at Southwest 173rd Avenue.
Clearly seen is the funnel cloud to the north-northwest of that location over Pembroke Pines.
A tornado warning was in effect Wednesday night in Broward County. The National Weather Service says that while funnel clouds were spotted, there were no touch downs or injuries.
