Video Shows Brazen Thieves Steal Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz From Miami-Dade Driveway

The Miami-Dade Police Department is searching for suspects who stole two vehicles from a home – a Christmas Eve theft caught on video.

Surveillance video captured at least two suspects stealing the vehicles – belonging to a husband and a wife – from the home near Dolphin Mall in NW Miami-Dade.

The victim said their daughter left a car open with the keys to both vehicles inside.

Leticia Carlucci told NBC 6 that neighbors should be alarmed by the bold thieves. One of the suspects was wearing hot pink sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers.

"Even with cameras they come and vandalize," Carlucci said.

The suspect stealing this white 2017 Jaguar XE has long black hair.

Carlucci thinks that suspect is no older than 16 years of age.

The thieves likely went door-to-door hoping to find unlocked vehicles with keys inside, according to Carlucci.

"You could see them trying to open my neighbor's car," Carlucci said.

"A younger kid comes out with a book bag and he's the one that takes my car," Carlucci said.

The husband's vehicle was found via GPS but the wife's car, a black 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 250, was found two days later – crashed and declared a total loss by the insurance company, Carlucci said.

Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
