Wade Leads Bulls to Victory Over Heat

Dwyane Wade led the Bulls to a win over the Heat on Saturday with his 28 points

Dwyane Wade helped his Chicago Bulls beat the Miami Heat 105-100 on Saturday at the United Center.

This was the second time Wade has faced the Heat this season, and it was clear from the start that the veteran was looking to make a statement. Wade threw up more shot attempts in this game than he has in any other game this year. The All-Star made a good deal of those baskets and ended up with 28 points.

Miami has now lost back-to-back games while playing against big parts of the team's past. On Friday, LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers torched Miami with a 30-point victory. The NBA champions out-classed the Heat from the start and removed any hope of a win for Miami. This game in Chicago was tighter, but with another losing result. The Heat have now lost five games in a row overall.

At the half, the two teams were tied 55-55. Chicago would however win the third quarter easily, which set it up for the win. Free throws proved to be a difference maker as the Bulls made 28 of the 31 attempts they had. Miami meanwhile missed seven attempts from the charity stripe.

Goran Dragic picked up a double-double with 21 points and 11 assists. The 21 points led the team and Hassan Whiteside came in a close second. Whiteside had 20 points, eight rebounds, two steals and three blocks in the loss.

The Heat will head back to Miami now for a six-game homestand. The first game will come on Monday when the Heat host the Washington Wizards.
