Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit
Just in time for Veterans Day, an exhibit honoring the famous Tuskegee Airmen -- the first black servicemen to serve as military pilots in the U.S. armed forces --will be on display at the Miramar Cultural Center. The exhibit will feature memorabilia from World War II and will be on display until Dec. 29. For more information, click here.
Several restaurants will be offering special deals and discounts for military personnel and veterans on Nov. 11, and many local events will be held to honor the U.S. military. If you or someone you love has served the United States of America, head over to Applebees, Outbeak Steakhouse or a number of other restaurants offering special deals to celebrate and commemorate them. Zoo Miami, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and Miami Seaquarium will also be offering free admission to U.S. vets.
