There will be two cooking competitions: the MasterChef Cooking Competition, and the new Sweet Freak Baking Competition. Additionally, there will be a pop-up wine boutique and the Food Network will be on scene. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Miami Gardens Municipal Complex. You must be 21 or older to enter. The exhibit will feature memorabilia from World War II and will be on display until Dec. 29. For more information, click here.

Veterans Day

Several restaurants will be offering special deals and discounts for military personnel and veterans on Nov. 11, and many local events will be held to honor the U.S. military. If you or someone you love has served the United States of America, head over to Applebees, Outbeak Steakhouse or a number of other restaurants offering special deals to celebrate and commemorate them. Zoo Miami, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and Miami Seaquarium  will also be offering free admission to U.S. vets.
