A former Miami-Dade Public Schools teacher was arrested Wednesday after two additional students accused him of rape.
Wendell Nibbs, a former physical education teacher at Brownsville Middle School, was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts of sexual battery.
The students told police Nibbs harassed them, touched them inappropriately and eventually had sexual intercourse with them in and outside of school. One of the girls said they repeatedly had unprotected sex and therefore, she believes he may be the father of her child.
According to the arrest affidavits, the students were in sixth and eighth grade when the alleged abuse began.
Nibbs was first arrested in 2017 after another Brownsville student told police they had sex multiple times in school. At the time, he pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual battery and was placed on house arrest.
The NBC 6 Investigators have been uncovering new details in Nibbs' case for months, including seven complaints from students dating back to 2004.
Nibbs denied any wrongdoing during a 2017 interrogation with the district's police.

"I don't play around like that," he said. "I never had any sexual encounter with any student."
His personnel file shows most complaints were investigated but were ruled unsubstantiated or with no probable cause and he remained at Brownsville.
Four of those students have since filed civil lawsuits against the district claiming school officials were aware Nibbs was a threat but didn't act.
The district did remove Nibbs temporarily from the classroom in 2004 and again in 2016, while investigating two allegations.
In a statement, Miami-Dade Public Schools spokesperson Daisy Gonzalez-Diego said the allegations are "clearly reprehensible" and that school police detectives were able to locate unknowns victims who had been previously afraid to come forward.
"We will continue to provide whatever assistance is necessary to ensure swift prosecution of the individual charged with these disturbing accusations," Gonzalez-Diego added.
The district told us that they have also implemented new protocols to investigate teachers' misconduct.
Nibbs is expected to go to trial this summer. His lawyer didn't respond to our requests for comment.
