Detectives are interviewing a woman after police said she stabbed her husband after they got into a physical fight.
Miami-Dade Police said the incident happened in the area of NW 70th Avenue and 179th Street.
The couple was involved in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation. According to police, the husband ripped the wife's shirt and punched her. That's when officers said the wife grabbed a knife and stabbed her husband multiple times.
Paramedics rushed the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
The wife was taken for questioning. Miami-Dade Police Department's Domestic Violence Section is investigating.
Police said charges are pending.
