Wings Over Homestead Air Show Returns This Weekend

After a one year hiatus, one of the largest air shows in the country is making its return to South Florida this weekend.

The Wings Over Homestead air and space show takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Homestead Air Reserve Base. The event last took place in 2016 and was attended by over 150,000 people.

The highlight of the event will be the thunderous roar of the USAF Thunderbird’s F-16 demonstration team, a unit composed of eight pilots along with support officers and personnel totaling over 100 people.

Also in attendance will be the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights parachute team and plenty of other aircraft and military vehicles for adults and children to enjoy. Food, drinks and memorabilia will also be sold.
