A woman accused of robbing two Broward banks in one day has been arrested, FBI officials said Monday.

Christina Rossi, 33, was arrested by the Broward Sheriff's Office in North Lauderdale earlier Monday, officials said.

The Sunrise woman is facing federal charges in the May 15 robberies of a Sun Trust Bank in Fort Lauderdale and a Wells Fargo in Wilton Manors. Surveillance photos showed the woman in a white "NY" hat, white shirt and sunglasses during the robberies.

Rossi was in federal custody Monday and was expected to appear in federal court. Attorney information wasn't available.
