Husband Bastes Turkey, Gets Attacked by Wife: Deputies

A Fort Pierce woman was arrested for allegedly attacking her husband on Thanksgiving

A Fort Pierce woman was arrested for attacking her husband on Thanksgiving after she became furious he didn't answer her question of "Why was he basting the turkey?" authorities said.

Cynthia Faba’s husband stated that she also started smashing glassware around the house and grabbed his grandmother's china and broke it. He then went to the bedroom to get clothes for a walk outside, but Faba would not allow him to leave the room and began to punch him in the face repeatedly, the arrest report states.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said Faba had a strong alcoholic beverage odor.

She was also arrested for violating a pretrial court order in September stating that she can’t have any violent contact with her husband.

Cynthia Faba, 30, had her bond at $5,000 bond. It wasn't immediately known if she had an attorney.
