Woman Attacks Man with Seashell, Bites Ear: Cops

Patricia Wehr was arrested on charges of aggravated battery, police said.

A Port Saint Lucie woman allegedly attacked a man with a sea shell after biting his ear during a domestic dispute, the Port Saint Lucie Police Department said.

Patricia Wehr, 40, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to TC Palm.

The 41-year-old victim told police he and Wehr had gone out for drinks because Wehr had an upcoming court date on a battery charge and was stressed, an incident report said. When they returned home, Wehr was intoxicated and began an argument with the man, police said.

According to the incident report, Wehr bit the man on his right ear, grabbed a sea shell with a pointed tip and stabbed the victim four times in the shoulder.

Police said the victim had a visible bite mark on his ear, scratches on his face and multiple puncture wounds on his shoulder.

Wehr told police that she wanted to get the man out of her house, the report said.

She was taken to St. Lucie County Jail where she remained on Friday on zero bond, jail officials said. It wasn't immediately known if she had an attorney.
