A female shooting victim was rushed to Jackson Memorial around midnight Wednesday and witnesses say police told them she isn't expected to live.
The gun shots went off at Northwest 42nd St. and 208th St. in Miami Gardens. Police arrived to find a woman with multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses believe she was left to die inside of a car on a dead end road.
"At first I didn't come outside. In this neighborhood you always hear shots. It's usually just someone shooting in the air but once we saw the cops closing down the area, we knew it was serious," said a witness at the scene who didn't want to be identified.
Another witness involved with the neighborhood association says he saw someone running away from the scene. No word yet on any arrests.
