Police are investigating a deadly hit and run Sunday night in Miami that killed a woman who was crossing the street.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. when the woman was hit by a silver Toyota pickup truck as she was crossing Southwest 1st St. near 19th Ave.
Police said the driver got out of the truck and looked at the victim before leaving the scene.
The victim, identified as Maria Perez, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where she later died.
Police are still looking for the driver.
