A Miami woman is accused of pepper-spraying and robbing a tourist after he brought her back to his Miami Beach hotel room from a club.

Elysia Thalassinos, 22, was arrested Sunday on a charge of armed robbery, according to an arrest report.

The report said the victim met Thalassinos at Club Space, and the two took an Uber back to the Fontainebleau Hotel, where he had a room.

When they walked into the man's room, Thalassinos grabbed about $500 in cash that was sitting on a nightstand and started to leave, the report said. The man tried to grab a hold of Thalassinos to get his money back, but she pushed and pepper-sprayed him then fled, the report said.

The victim called hotel security, and Thalassinos was found near the valet ramp and detained by security staff, the report said. In her purse were $580 in cash and a black bottle of pepper spray, the report said.

Thalassinos was booked into jail, where she was being held on $5,000 bond Monday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
