A woman who murdered her millionaire boyfriend inside his Fort Lauderdale mansion was sentenced on Tuesday.
Prosecutors said Catherine Pileggi, 58, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the 2011 killing of 70-year-old Ronald Vinci.
Vinci's body was discovered in his mansion shot, stabbed and beaten after an argument with Pileggi. She was his live-in girlfriend for more than 20 years.
The argument was reportedly about Vinci's desire to leave the relationship.
