Miramar Police Search for Woman Accused of Stealing From Target

Police are looking for a woman who may have stolen from a Target Superstore in Miramar more than once, and on one occasion, even got into a tug-of-war with an employee.

Surveillance cameras captured the grand theft on Jan. 29 at the store on Miramar Parkway. An employee gets into a scuffle with the woman, who police say was trying to push a cart filled with stolen electronics out of the store.

He tries to take the cart from the woman, who refuses to let go. While this is going on, the woman's alleged partner-in-crime is seen pushing another cart filled with stolen goods. The employee also chases after her.

Three months later, on Saturday morning, Miramar police believe the same woman came back for more. Surveillance video shows her -- by herself -- putting electronics into her cart and then walking out without paying. She is seen loading the goods into a black sedan.

Both suspects in the January incident are described as black women in their 30's. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
