Woman Wanted in Hollywood Rolex Theft Caught: Police

One of two women wanted in Hollywood for stealing expensive watches from men after allegedly drugging their drinks has been arrested, authorities said.

Alexandria Nicholas, 22, was arrested Saturday in Michigan and has been extradited to Broward County to face grand theft charges. It's unknown if she's hired an attorney. She posted the $60,000 bond and left jail the next day.

Hollywood Police said the theft happened back on Jan. 7 after the two men, who are in their early 50s, met Nicholas and Kelsey Hough at the Porterhouse Bar in Sunny Isles.

The men invited the women back to a home on the east side of Hollywood, where the women made some alcoholic drinks and gave them to the men, police said. The men said they became very sleepy and only remembered waking up the next morning.

When the men woke up, they noticed their Rolex watches had been taken off their wrists, police said. One of the men who lives at the home also found five watches had been stolen from his personal safe, police said.

A security camera caught the two women leaving the home, police said. The total value of the items stolen was about $70,000, police said.

"We always check with other agencies to see if they have something similar and that would be part of our detectives' investigation," said Officer Meredith Elrich with Hollywood Police.

In December, a man said he also fell prey to a similar scheme. The victim recalls the woman persuading him to drink out of her glass and now hopes she and anyone who she may be working with are caught.

"It's a crazy thing. I could never expect something like that to happen to me. If it happened to me, it can happen to anybody," the victim said.

Hough, the alleged co-defendant in this case, is still at large. If you know anything about her whereabouts, you're urged to call Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
