A woman was arrested and will face charges of battery for allegedly punching an employee at a Miami-Dade flea market phone shop Wednesday, authorities said.
Miami-Dade Police said the incident happened at iPhone Solutions JW, located at the flea market on Northwest 27th Avenue.
The dispute started when the man with the machete, who police say is a store regular, took money from the store, MDPD said. He was initially taken into custody but was released after police confirmed he took the money back.
Police said the man did not use the machete nor did he threaten anyone with it.
The woman involved punched in an employee in the dispute, MDPD said. She will be arrested and charged with battery.
