Four others injured in fiery North Miami-Dade collision

A three-year-old girl was killed and her 16-year-old sister injured in a fiery crash on I-95 in North Miami-Dade Monday night that sent four people to the hospital.

The accident happened around 9 p.m. near Northwest 135th St. when a Chevy Camaro struck a Toyota Camry in the northbound lanes, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The Camry collided with the concrete median and caught fire after the collision, the FHP said.

Driving the Toyota was Marie Lonise Desir, 31, with her 16-year-old daughter Roldise and 3-year-old Roldinise riding along.

The Desir family was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where Roldinise died.

Cody's airbag deployed but Pierrette wasn't wearing a seatbelt, according to the FHP. So far so charges have been filed.
