Zombie Asks for Plastic Surgery in Miami Doctor's Latest Video

The doctor and author hopes to cash in on the increasingly popular zombie theme

Zombies are taking over a Miami doctor's office, well, sort of. What is happening in Dr. Michael Salzhauer's office isn't real, but it could be.

"Even if we did have a real zombie attack in Miami, the zombies would still want to have plastic surgery, since so many people get plastic surgery in Miami," Salzhauer said.

His YouTube video is five minutes long and all of the actors in it work at Salzhauer's Bal Harbour Plastic Surgery. In less than a week, the video had more than 100,000 views.

"The zombie comes into the operating room and we think she's going to eat or eyes or something," the doctor explained. "Instead, she asks for plastic surgery to look like a different zombie."

This isn't the doctor's first time dabbling in the short moviemaking business. His last video stunt sparked controversy. That one was almost two years ago. It was called "Jewcan Sam: A Nose Job Love Song." Dr. Salzhauer said he was trying to promote his practice aimed at a particular demographic using Jewish humor.

This time, the doctor and author hopes to cash in on the increasingly popular zombie theme with a contest that will reward the best-looking zombie with some free services – Botox, fillers, or even a discount on plastic surgery.

"Follow us @DrMiami on Instagram, dress up like a zombie – a pretty zombie – and the one that gets the most likes, the most beautiful zombie, wins the prize," Salzhauer said.

When uploading a picture, use the #ZombieBeauty hashtag.

The contest started Thursday, Feb. 6 and will last a week.
