A fishing vessel rescued three people whose plane went down in the ocean near the Bahamas Thursday.

A U.S. Coast Guard crew from Miami responded after the aircraft went down about 20 miles east of Bimini, officials said.

Officials said a good Samaritan fishing vessel crew rescued the three survivors, who were with Bahamian authorities in Cat Cay.

The Coast Guard posted a short video clip of their crew flying over the wreckage of the small plane on social media.
