Alert Issued for Missing Girl Last Seen in Florida's Panhandle

A missing child alert has been issued for a North Florida girl who may have been taken by a teenage boy.

Officials in Santa Rosa County in Florida’s panhandle, along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, issued the alert for 12-year-old Emily Navarro after she went missing near her home in Navarre – located about 20 miles east of Pensacola.

The alert said she may be traveling with 18-year-old Elvin Murcia and that the two could be in a black Honda Civic with Tennessee license plates.

Navarro is 4’6” tall and weighs 130 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call FDLE or the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.
