Alexander Ospina Making His Mark in the Comedy World

In three short years funny man Alexander Ospina has gone from obscurity to being a social media sensation.

The 32 year-old Miami resident who posts corky parodies under the handle @TeAmoHijoTV has achieved an impressive following on all his social media platforms including many celebs like singers Nicky Jam, JBalvin and Maluma.

“It’s an incredible feeling and a dream come true when I see celebrities liking and even sharing my posts,” Ospina said. “It makes me feel like I’m doing something right and that support gives me motivation to continue with what I’m doing.”

The project originally set up as a tribute to his first son began as an outlet to make his friends and family laugh is now turning Ospina into a household name and a promising stand-up comedian who above all remains humble in the midst of his newfound fame.

“I feel extremely grateful to all the people who have supported my project, “ he said. “There is nothing better than the feeling of someone telling you that one of my videos made their day or when they ask to take a picture with me.”

Ospina’s witty humor and personality are at the center of his various reoccurring characters and he says he often draws from his own life to create his funny sketches.

“My videos are based on everyday life, relationship problems and thing that happen in the streets,” Ospina said. “I do this because it is also a good way to see the things we do wrong in life and with humor we can perhaps give our own lives a twist in the right direction.”
