Alleged Serial Groper Arrested in Coral Gables: Police

Coral Gables Police have arrested a man they said groped multiple women on numerous occasions.

According to police, on different dates and times, six female victims reported they were either walking or jogging when an unknown male approached them on a bicycle, groped them and then fled.

In two cases, police said the same subject was on foot and followed two female victims throwing a rock at them, striking one of them.

The victims all described the suspect as a Hispanic male, five-feet eight-inches tall, thin build, short hair, mid-20s, wearing long-sleeve clothing and pants.

Detectives from the Coral Gables Police Department had been conducting surveillance in the area where the offender had been committing these crimes.

22-year-old Rodolfo Col-Torres of Miami was identified and arrested Wednesday. He has been charged with four counts of battery, one count of assault and one count of aggravated battery.

Detectives said they are continuing to investigate similar crimes that Col-Torres may have committed. It's unknown whether he has an attorney.
