Authorities are investigating an altercation between a passenger and a flight attendant on a Miami-bound American Airlines flight Tuesday morning.
Airline officials say the altercation happened on flight 998 which left Sao Paulo and landed at Miami International Airport just after 6:30 a.m.
The Boeing 777 aircraft, which had 223 passengers and 14 crew members landed without incident, American Airlines spokeswoman Dori Robau Alvarez said.
Details of the altercation were unknown. Miami-Dade Police is investigating the incident.
