The 2-year-old girl who was at the center of an Amber Alert Thursday has been found, but her father is still at large, police said.

Jesmine Cedillo-Ramirez was last seen in the area of the 39th block of 9th Street in Homestead, Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials said. Police said she was taken by her biological father, 23-year-old Diego Cedillo-Hernandez.

Hours after the Amber Alert was issued, police said the girl was found safe at a friend's house and was reuniting with her mother, Homestead police said. Authorities are still looking for Cedillo-Hernandez.

He took the girl from the custody of her mother after a domestic incident, police said.

They may be traveling in a 2006, white Hyundai Azera, FL tag number Z782JS.
