An Amber Alert has been canceled after a four-year-old girl missing from a North Florida city since Tuesday was found safe Wednesday.
Alanda McCoy had been last seen in the area of Berry Hill Road in Milton, just east of Pensacola.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement later canceled the alert after she was found safe.
Officials had said she may have been with 27-year-old William "Billy" Kavchak. Milton police officials said McCoy was last seen leaving Santa Rosa Medical Center with Kavchak at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to go get ice cream and never returned.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement released a photo of Alanda McCoy leaving Santa Rosa Medical Center with William Kavchak.
Kavchak is known to the child’s mother, police said.
