Heart-stopping video shows a masked robber pointing a gun at a clerk before stealing cash early Monday at a Lady Lakes internet cafe.

The robbery occurred at around 2:40 a.m. at Flip Flops Internet Cafe, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office.

The robber demanded money while pointing a semi-automatic handgun at two clerks, according to the sheriff's office. The surveillance footage shows a clerk falling over in fear and cowering in a corner as the robber grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is believed to have been shot twice by an armed security guard as she tried to escape, according to the sheriff's office. She dropped the cash and was able to escape in a getaway car.

The robber was described to be possibly female, around 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-7 and around 240 to 250 pounds. She was wearing a green hoodie and black pants.
