Police are searching for an armed robber who stole jewelry from a Sam's Club in Sunrise Friday morning.
The robbery happened at the store at 13550 West Sunrise Boulevard sometime around 7 a.m. when the suspect came in, smashed a jewelry case and fled with some items, officials said.
No injuries were reported and no shots were fired. It's unknown how much jewelry was stolen.
Employees evacuated the building but were let back inside a short time later.
Police haven't released any information on the suspect but the robbery remains under investigation.
