Armed Robber to Florida Store Clerk: “I'm Sorry, Merry Christmas”

Authorities are looking for a woman who robbed a Florida store at gunpoint before apologizing to the clerk and telling him "Merry Christmas."

The robbery happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday at a Tom Thumb store on U.S. Highway 87 in Navarre, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News.

The woman, who was wearing a black cap, gloves and sunglasses, walked into the store holding a handgun and demanded cash, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office said.

After the clerk gave her the money, she told him "I'm sorry, Merry Christmas," and left the store, the sheriff's office said.

A perimeter was set up but authorities were unable to find the woman.
