Two people were injured after a car they were riding in crashed into a tree in Hollywood Monday morning, officials said.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. in the 6700 block of Charleston Street. It's unknown what caused the crash but Hollywood Police said alcohol may have been a factor.
Footage from the scene showed firefighters helping one victim out of the vehicle and onto a stretcher. Firefighters said the two were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital.

Hollywood Police identified the victims as Aaron Cypress, 20, and a 15-year-old. Seminole Police later confirmed the two riding inside the car were from the reservation.
Cypress suffered life threatening injuries and the teen was seriously injured, police said.
Nearby residents said the car caught fire after it struck the tree.
"We couldn't get the guy out," said Job Lockwood, who added that he grabbed two fire extinguishers from his house to put out the flames. "We started putting the fire out and cutting the airbags with knives."

Lockwood said he cut his hands pounding the glass while attempting to free the victims. He bandaged both hands afterwards.
"I thought the driver was dead," said Eric Saenz, who lives nearby and rushed to help the two men.
The crash is still being investigated.
