Authorities are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed crash in Deerfield Beach Tuesday.
The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. in the area of North Dixie Highway and Northeast 51st Street, when a motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Victor Angelo De Souza collided with two cars, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
De Souza, who was with another motorcyclist, was traveling at a high rate of speed when his 1994 Honda collided with a 2006 Scion then a 2005 Honda Odyssey, the BSO said.
De Souza was taken to Broward Health North where he later died. No one else was injured in the crash.
The second motorcyclist didn't stay at the scene, the BSO said.
