A Florida inmate who escaped after stealing a Department of Corrections van has been captured.
Thor Bahrman, 33, broke free from a Florida State Prison facility in Raiford Friday afternoon and fled in a work van. Corrections officials say no alarm was raised when he took the van and fled.
According to WTLV, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office SWAT team located Bahrman at a gas station around 10:11 p.m. The stolen van was also recovered.
Bahrman left the facility undetected and didn't harm anyone, authorities say.
Records show Bahrman had been serving a two-year sentence in a minimum security unit after he was sentenced on drug charges in March.
