Jeffrey Harrington went from hailing a taxi to getting a ride from authorities in less than a day.
FBI agents claim 27-year-old Harrington is the well-dressed man who robbed a Hallandale Beach bank on Tuesday and then fled in a cab.
He was arrested on bank robbery charges Wednesday.
Authorities allege Harrington, wearing a suit and sporting well-groomed hair, walked into the Bank of America branch and ordered the teller to give him cash or he would detonate an explosive device he had on him.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and then jumped into a waiting cab outside, authorities said.
Harrington was being booked in Broward County jail Wednesday evening.
