A boat crashed Friday evening in Pompano Beach, injuring five people. The 32-foot Boston Whaler crashed into the jetty at Hillsboro Inlet, located at 2608 North Ocean Blvd.
Firefighters quickly responded to the scene got everybody off the the boat. Pompano Beach Fire confirms five people were injured including a 14-year-old, who was taken to Broward Health Medical Center.
The other four patients were taken to North Broward Medical Center.

The FWC is investigating the crash, but low tide may have played a roll in the incident.
