NBC Universal, Inc.

Police are investigating after the bodies of a man and woman were found inside a short-term rental home in Kendall Tuesday.

A cleaning crew made the discovery at the home in the 9300 block of Southwest 136th Street.

Miami-Dade Police officials confirmed that the bodies of the man and woman were found in the home, but didn't say how they died and didn't release their identities.

NBC 6 hasn't been able to contact the owner of the house but confirmed it’s listed on various vacation rental sites, going from around $800 to just under $1,200 a night.

A fairly large group of people showed up at the scene of the investigation Tuesday, including neighbors who say the home has long been a problem.

"This house has been a nightmare. An absolute nightmare," said one neighbor. "The owner of the house has chosen to make some extra money and rent it out and it has been beyond problems that you can't even imagine."
