Two crime scene investigation trucks are parked outside the Shores at Biscayne Motel just off of 105th street and Biscayne Blvd.
According to Miami Dade Police, at around 12:15 p.m. Miami Shores police and Miami Dade Fire Rescue responded to a report of someone shot here ar the motel. When they arrived they found a man in his 20s with a fatal gunshot wound.
A resident of the motel commented on the incident: "I didn't hear anything until the ambulance arrived and then I found out someone was dead. I am very nervous."
This is a preliminary investigation; however, police are confirming the man's body was found in one of the rooms in this middle area.
Motel management could not be contacted for comment at this time.
