Man Shot, Killed Outside Broward Nightclub: BSO

Shots were fired early Wednesday morning outside BAM Nightclub near Fort Lauderdale in Broward County, leaving one man dead.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said a deputy patrolling the area heard the shots around 4:20 a.m. and quickly responded to the scene.

The nightclub is located at 2829 West Broward Boulevard.

As the deputy arrived, club goers were scattering and a man was laying in the parking lot. 27-year-old Joshua Rogers of Pompano Beach was pronounced dead on the scene.

BSO homicide and crime scene detectives collected evidence and spoke with potential witnesses of the crime.

No arrests have been made.
