A 12-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after he was struck by a car in Pompano Beach Wednesday morning.
Officials said the child was struck by the car in the area of Northwest 33rd Street and Northwest 15th Avenue.
The boy was airlifted to Broward General Medical Center as a trauma alert.
The driver stayed at the scene, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
