Broward County has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for Friday night and into Saturday morning as wind chills are expected to be in the mid-40s in South Florida.
The advisory will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until 7 a.m. Saturday. Cold night shelters will be open in Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. The locations are:

(Shelter and Pickup Location)
The Salvation Army of Broward County is also preparing for the cold and will serve as a pickup location and shelter Friday. The Salvation Army, located at 1445 W. Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, will open its doors at 4:30 p.m. for a community feeding and will serve as a shelter and pickup at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday is expected to be sunny and dry with highs in the low 70s and lows around 50. Sunday is expected to be a little warmer with highs in the mid-70s.
