Broward Fire Rescue crews responded to several stranded boaters at Everglades Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, three men on two small boats were in the area attempting to retrieve an airboat that sunk last week at the park.
During that time, one of the boats was possibly struck by lightening and began taking on water during the storms that swept through the region.

BSO Fire Rescue was en route to the men via airboats to bring blankets and water, and to bring the men back to Holiday Park for evaluation. None of the men have reported any injuries.
