A Broward Sheriff's Office deputy was hospitalized after he was struck by a car while on his motorcycle in Tamarac Wednesday morning, officials said.
The deputy was sitting at a red light near N. Pine Island Road and W. McNab Road when he was struck from behind around 7:15 a.m., BSO officials said.
Rescue crews took the deputy to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene, and officials said it's too early to say whether they might face charges.
