The Broward Sheriff's Office is now offering buyers and sellers a safe place to meet to complete online purchases.
Sheriff Scott Israel and the BSO are providing a "Safe Transaction Zone" at all their district offices for free.
Officials said it's a necessary precaution to prevent and deter crime.
"The Broward Sheriff’s Office is committed to keeping the residents and visitors of the South Florida area safe," officials said in a statement.
