The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect who cut a woman with a knife during an attempted carjacking in Deerfield Beach.
The BSO on Thursday released a sketch of the suspect in the Jan. 18 incident that happened in the parking lot of a Target in the 1200 block of S. Federal Highway.
Officials said the woman was leaving the parking lot when she went to get something out of her trunk. When she returned to the driver's seat and tried to close her door, the suspect was blocking the door.
The man told her to get out, and she started to scream and kick before realizing he was holding a large knife. The suspect dropped the knife and fled the scene on a bicycle.
During the struggle the woman suffered a cut to her hand, and she was treated at the scene.
