A construction worker was hit by a car in Lauderhill Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
Lauderhill Fire crews said all lanes are blocked on the Turnpike northbound at Commercial Blvd. Officials recommend seeking an alternate route as delays can be expected.

The construction worker is in critical condition and is being airlifted to the hospital.
