A man in Central Florida found himself behind bars for allegedly driving drunk while on a Segway last week.

NBC affiliate WFLA-TV reported that deputies in Polk County found 48-year-old Andy Sigears driving eastbound near Davenport on Wednesday afternoon near their substation.

A lieutenant in the area said Sigears was driving unsteady and swerving, saying cars had to drive in the opposite lanes of traffic to pass him.

Deputies stopped Sigears at the scene, saying he smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech before telling deputies he had drank two bottles of wine. Sigears’ blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit during tests taken.

Sigears was arrested for driving under the influence and later released on bond.
