A 15-year-old boy has been injured and hospitalized after authorities say he dared a friend to light him on fire in an Orlando neighborhood.
Orange County Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Jane Watrel says that a group of teenagers Monday were daring each other to do stunts. Watrel says a boy in the group doused himself in flammable liquid and told his friend to hold a lit match to his clothes.
Authorities say the friend followed the directions, and the victim received second-degree burns on his arms and back.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the boy was initially listed in stable condition, but he had to be flown to a Cincinnati hospital after his condition deteriorated. His condition was not immediately clear early Tuesday.
Watrel says there are currently no charges pending.
