A young child on a bicycle was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Coral Springs Tuesday morning, officials said.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. in the area of Coral Ridge Drive and Royal Park Boulevard. Footage showed a pink bicycle on the ground at the scene.
Officers and rescue workers responded and the child was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene. No other information was immediately known.
