To ensure South Florida roads are safe during Cinco de Mayo festivities, Miami-Dade Police Department has set up a DUI Checkpoint.
The department's Special Patrol Bureau Motorcycle Unit will be on the lookout for drivers who are impaired on the corner of Miami Gardens Drive and Northwest 61st Avenue. Officers will be out in force from 7 p.m. to 2 a. m.
Remember, don't drink and drive. Be sure to designate a sober driver if you plan on drinking.
