While parts of the country will be braving cold temperatures as they open their gifts from Santa Claus, South Florida is in for a nearly perfect Christmas holiday weather wise.
When you wake up Tuesday, breezier weather will make an appearance for the holiday with the area waking up in the low to mid 60s – but clear skies remain in the forecast with high temperatures again in the mid to upper 70s.
By Wednesday, the windy weather picks up and so do the temperatures with lows near 70 degrees and high temperatures pushing 80 degrees.
Isolated showers are expected by Thursday as a windy, warm pattern takes shape. Highs will perk back up into the lower 80s with morning lows around 70.
Rain chances will also increase to 30 percent by Friday with warm temperatures – including highs near the mid-80s – sticking around through the weekend.
