An elementary school in Dania Beach was evacuated Tuesday after a bomb threat was called in, authorities said.
Collins Elementary at 1050 Northwest 2nd Street was evacuated as a precaution after the threat was received, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.
Deputies responded to the school around 2:10 p.m. and students and staff were evacuated while a bomb squad investigated.
Officials said the threat was unfounded and the all-clear was issued around 3:25 p.m.
No other information was immediately known.
